This includes the transfer of £300 Annual Grant and £35 expenditure for data protection. There is an uncashed cheque which was issued some months ago and this will be followed up.

5. Community Police Officers' report
PC Smith submitted a written report which was circulated to all members present. This report will also be summarised in the next issue of Menstrie Matters.
6. Councillor Paterson's reports
Closure of Alva Swimming Pool:
Councillor Paterson said that there was a petition to save the pool if anybody wished to sign it and this could be found in the local garage.
This will also be closing at the end of March as it is no longer economical to run it.
Grit on pavements:
SP asked when something was going to be done about the grit which is still on the pavements. Councillor Paterson said that this would be dealt with as work in progress on road repairs etc.
CC said that the street lights in Colsnaur had been on day and night for the last two years and asked if this could be rectified.
