1. Appointments and resignations
Resignations received from Les Sharp and Louise Craven.
2. Approval of minutes of previous meetings:

3. Matters arising from minutes
An improvement has been noticed in the village regarding street cleaning.
4. Treasurer's report
The balance on 1st May stands at £6,751.43.
Income was £329.30
5. Community Police Officers' report
P.C. Armitage's report was circulated to the members.
6. Councillor's Reports
The Chair welcomed the new Councillors Sharp and Stalker to the meeting.
Both Councillors agreed to contribute reports to Menstrie Matters.
BC proposed a vote of thanks from the Community Council to Les Sharp for all the work he has done while a member of the Community Council.
All correspondence was read and actioned as required.
8. Community Woodland
LS agreed, as a member of the Woodland Sub-Committee, to obtain two quotations for the area beside the woodland path to be developed into a work area and a wildlife garden. He will also try and ascertain who owns the piece of ground.

9. Dumyat Centre
The official re-launch of the Centre will take place on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd June.
The official opening will take place on Saturday from 10.00-15.00h when the Council, Sports Development and the Library will put on taster sessions in the Sports Hall, story-telling in the Library, face-painting and art and craft activities for the children. The Community Council will provide a free drop-in cafe. Flyers will be provided by the Council to go out with the Menstrie Matters.
10. Menstrie Matters
The Fete/Gala edition will be collated and circulated by the end of May. The Jubilee Garden Party will also be included in this issue.
11. Jubilee Garden Party
This will take place on Sunday 3rd June from 2.30pm. to 7.00p.m. in the Gardens at Midtown. This will be a free event for all villagers. Those volunteering to help set up should be in the gardens at 10.30am.
12. Any other business
LS indicated that all the plants for the baskets and tubs are in the Nursery at Glenochil. Conifers have been purchased for the middle of the tubs. Emer will arrange planting up of the tubs and the baskets will need to be hung before the end of May. Offers of help to plant up the tubs would be appreciated. We have enough plants for 12 tubs.
