1. Approval of minutes for 11th April, 2017

Approved: Linda Matheson
Seconded: Beth Cook

2. Harassment by local youths

The Chair invited Mrs. Anderson to address the members.
She spoke about the problems she was encountering with youths near her house in Brook Street. Teenagers have a rope on a tree by the burn which appeared to have a noose at the end of it. Children also stand on the wall and look into her window, rattling on the door and window and giving her abuse. She had contacted the Police who advised her not to answer the door. Lee Allen will be asked to go and have a word with the children and Councillor Sharp will contact the Youth Team at the Council.
Mrs. Anderson also wanted to bring to our attention that the speed limit in Brook Street is 20mph but some vehicles are going along it at 40mph, particularly on the school runs and it is the same cars that do it all the time. She has taken a note of the registration numbers and she was advised to give the numbers to the police who could follow the matter up.

Mrs. Anderson and Ms. Duke then left the meeting.

3. Matters Arising from minutes

Linda and Stan were both at the Community Plan meeting with Lesley Campbell. There has been a satisfactory response to the survey; around the 400 number. The results of the survey will be available on the Community Plan voting day on the 4th June in the Dumyat Centre.
The reply from Clacks Council re. reserved parking for shop owners on the Main Street was that this would not be possible.

4. Treasurer's report

Bank balance - £19,556.60
Cash in hand - £ 685.34

5. Community Police report

At this point the Community Policeman Lee Allen arrived at the meeting.

Since the last meeting there have been 3 recorded crime reports: 2 detected and 1 undetected.

There have been a number of reports of riders utilising the Menstrie to Tullibody cycle path. One male was traced and dealt with. The public are advised if they witness anything of this nature they should call the police and report the incident and not put themselves in a confrontational position.
The vehicle can be seized and the rider reported to the Court.

6. Councillors' reports

Councillor Sharp's report:
