River Devon Flooding after Storm Dennis - Today was a little different situation for MCRG from just monitoring the burn. Menstrie Burn reached flooding equipment deploy levels during Storm Ciara and Dennis. Thank you to our volunteers who are onhand at anytime to assist the community. Without the team we are just paper plans. See a wee write up of the weekend events in the Alloa Advertiser
A water main burst between Elmbank and Eastmains, MCRG was able to assist by blocking the water from flowing into someones garden and directing it into the main storm drain. Once the issue was resolved the team cleared away the excess water and mud.

Ochil View Housing Association donated a Christmas hamper to Menstrie House Staff and Patients to say thank you for allowing MCRG to use the meeting room each month to plan and organise.

This new website launched
MCRG's forum members testing the new walkie talkies donated by Ochilview Housing Association which will help team communication between the Flood PODs as resources are deployed
The team were called out and deployed equipment from the Flood PODs as Menstire burn threatened to burst it's banks.
