New School Year, 2010
Welcome to session 2010 - 2011. As Acting Head teacher I reaffirm my commitment to Menstrie Primary School with strong leadership to ensure that the existing high standards of learning, teaching and pastoral care are maintained. I would like to thank staff and parents for their continued support.
Pupils and staff are busy in school as always and the Curriculum for Excellence is being implemented throughout the school. There are lots of opportunities for pupils to learn through fIrst hand experience, work co-operatively and to take learning outdoors. Many classes are using enterprising techniques to develop transferable skills and raise funds for various purposes.
Pupils are taking part in rehearsals for the Christmas Show which will be performed on the 16th and 17th December in the afternoon. Tickets for family members and carers will be on sale soon. There will also be Christmas Craft and Novelties on sale from a stall organised and run by P7.
